Key executive appointments across Ulta Beauty, The Estée Lauder Cos., Kosas, and ILabs signal shifting talent strategies in beauty, retail, and marketing.
Kelly Garcia has been named chief technology officer at Ulta Beauty, effective Aug. 31, in the latest round of leadership changes across the beauty industry. Previously executive vice president and chief technology officer at Domino’s Pizza since 2012, Garcia has served on Ulta’s board of directors since 2022 and will step down from his board seat to assume the executive role. The appointment comes as Ulta Beauty expands its retail footprint and digital capabilities.
Madeleine Boyd, most recently senior vice president of beauty and wellness at U.K.-based Together Group, has joined The Estée Lauder Cos. as senior vice president of global brand communications. In this role, Boyd will lead the corporate global brand communications team and direct creator engagement strategies across the group's prestige cosmetics and skincare portfolio.
Leigh Winters Silberstein has been appointed vice president of product development and marketing at ILabs, the beauty incubator and contract manufacturing firm founded by Farmacy creator David Chung. She previously held the same title at Mana Products, which was acquired by Prime Matter Labs.
Pressed Juicery has tapped Tina Reejsinghani as chief marketing officer. Reejsinghani previously held senior executive marketing positions at consumer brands including Reed’s, Pernod Ricard, and Rémy Cointreau, and aims to position Pressed as a category leader in accessible wellness.
Clean color cosmetics brand Kosas has named Shannon Henschel vice president of global brand. Henschel joins from skincare brand Versed, where she served as director of brand marketing, following prior executive marketing roles at Hourglass Cosmetics.
Kira Jackson has stepped in as chief marketing officer of M.pH Beauty, founded by celebrity makeup artist Mary Phillips. Jackson previously served as chief brand officer at Set Active and vice president of brand strategy at Power Digital Marketing.
