Dolce Glow Raises $11 Million Series A Backed by Celebrity Investors

At-home tanning brand Dolce Glow has raised an $11 million Series A funding round to accelerate product innovation and global retail growth.

Led by Cavu Consumer Partners—an investment firm whose portfolio includes Poppi, Vital Proteins, and Whoop—the round featured participation from more than 10 high-profile celebrities and influencers, including Sofia Richie Grainge, Olivia Culpo, Kensington Tillo, Cierra Ramirez, Yris Palmer, and Gabi Moura.

The investment marks a major milestone for the fast-growing business. Founded in 2015 as a professional spray-tanning service by celebrity tanner Isabel Alysa—whose clients include Kim Kardashian and Alix Earle—Dolce Glow expanded into consumer at-home products in 2021.

Today, Dolce Glow is best known for its line of self-tanning mists, mousses, and serums. Key offerings include the $36 Acqua Hydrating Face Mist and $49 Lusso Self-Tanning Mousse, alongside a growing collection of hybrid tanning makeup products.

“From my earliest house-call clients to seeing Dolce Glow on the shelves of leading beauty retailers, our mission has always been the same: to help people feel confident in their own skin,” said Alysa, chief executive officer of Dolce Glow. “Cavu understood both the category opportunity and the emotional connection behind this brand. They are not just investing in where Dolce Glow is today—they share our vision for what this brand can become.”

In February, Dolce Glow expanded into Sephora, launching on the retailer's e-commerce platform and across approximately 300 physical stores, following an earlier 2024 rollout into Ulta Beauty. The brand has also broadened its product focus, introducing the $28 Blush Me Flushed Self Tanning Blush in August, a hybrid product engineered to develop color while worn. The move mirrors a broader industry trend where indie beauty brands build early momentum direct-to-consumer before executing a prestige retail expansion into Sephora.

“Dolce Glow stands out because it combines Isabel’s professional artistry and authentic founder story with prestige formulations, modern product formats, and strong consumer pull,” said Samantha Martinez, brand associate at Cavu. “We believe the brand is well positioned to define the next generation of sunless tanning and expand into a broader skin and body care platform over time.”

Additional participants in the Series A round include Barstool Sports podcaster Brianna LaPaglia, makeup artist Ash Holm, NFL athlete Christian McCaffrey, Alyssa Caparelli, Jaclyn Hill, Riley Saurage, and Sadie McKenna.

The deal follows earlier backing from singer Miley Cyrus, a client of Alysa's who took an equity stake in Dolce Glow in 2023 as her first brand investment. Cyrus also backed Alysa’s second, value-focused self-tanning line, Sunnee BaeSkin, which debuted at Ulta in 2025.

Celebrity and creator equity stakes have become increasingly common across personal care and consumer products as beauty capital returns as investors shift focus to high-engagement, founder-led brands. Recent deals include Alix Earle taking a stake in Cymbiotika, creator Katie Fang joining ESW Beauty as an equity partner, and Bethenny Frankel investing in DpHue. Meanwhile, Phoebe Gates’ AI-powered shopping app Phia secured a $35.5 million Series A round in May with participation from Earle, Khloé Kardashian, Jay Shetty, and Olivia Culpo.

Dolce Glow plans to deploy the new capital toward product development, expanding domestic and international retail partnerships, and scaling operational capabilities.

“With Cavu’s support, we can innovate faster, reach more consumers, and continue building a global beauty brand rooted in skincare-first, UV-free glow,” Alysa said.
