Essential Parfums Selects London's Soho for First International Boutique

French fragrance brand Essential Parfums is set to open its first standalone store outside France this October, selecting London's Soho for its UK retail debut.

The 795-square-foot boutique will open at 37 Beak Street, becoming the latest beauty brand to join Shaftesbury Capital's Soho portfolio. The launch follows Essential Parfums' recent partnership with Style Capital, announced earlier this month, to accelerate global growth, strengthen its retail network, and expand into new international markets. This move comes as other major beauty players also pivot toward curated spaces in the capital; for instance, Sephora UK is expanding its boutique-format footprint to capture high-street shoppers seeking intimate retail experiences.

Founded in Paris in 2018 by Géraldine and Stanislas Archambault, Essential Parfums has built a reputation for offering niche fragrances at more accessible price points, working with renowned perfumers including Calice Becker, Quentin Bisch, and Nathalie Lorson.

Inspired by the brand's Parisian boutiques, the Soho store will feature a minimalist interior centered around its fragrance collection, alongside candles, body mists, and hand creams.

The opening further strengthens Soho's position as a destination for premium beauty brands, with Essential Parfums joining neighbors including Grown Alchemist, Aesop, and Le Labo.
