Five Standout Beauty Launches From Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas
Five innovative launches from Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas showcase the future of multifunctional beauty, skin health, and biotech.
Innovation took center stage at the 2026 edition of Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas, a premier event for the beauty industry. This year’s launches reflected growing interest in multifunctionality, skin health, and beauty technology, building on broader Cosmoprof North America highlights in next-gen SPF and K-beauty trends. Here are five standout beauty launches from the show.
1. Alma Skin, Pistactive Fusion (Italy)
Italian biotech start-up Alma Skin introduced its patented Pistactive Fusion platform to the U.S. market. The electrospun, waterless patch is made from upcycled feather-derived keratin and an active extracted from Sicilian pistachio hulls, a food industry byproduct that cofounder and chief executive officer Antonella Bellina described as “a bunch of treasure.” Activated by a light mist of water or applied to damp skin, the nanofiber patch dissolves on contact, delivering ingredients that help stimulate collagen while creating an invisible shield against pollution. In a 56-day consumer study, dark spots improved by 7.7 percent, skin elasticity increased 4 percent and moisture rose 13 percent, according to Alma, which is partnering with beauty brands through a private-label model instead of selling directly to consumers.
2. Solésence, Scalp Screen Dry Shampoo SPF 45+ Sunscreen (U.S.)
Product developer and manufacturer Solésence is taking scalp care into the SPF category with Scalp Screen Dry Shampoo SPF 45+ Sunscreen, a multitasking formula that combines oil absorption with broad-spectrum UV defense. Using the company’s non-nano, mineral-based Kleair technology, the dry shampoo protects against more than 97 percent of UV radiation while reducing pollution-induced free radicals by more than 85 percent, according to Solésence. The formula also contains 2 percent niacinamide, binchotan white charcoal, bamboo, chickweed herb and witch hazel leaf extract to help soothe irritation, absorb excess oil and support scalp health.
“Today’s consumers are looking for multifunctional products that simplify their routines and deliver meaningful results,” said Kevin Cureton, president and CEO of Solésence.
3. TimeSavvy, Hybrid XL Cushion Sun Serum SPF 50 (South Korea)
K-beauty brand TimeSavvy, launched in 2025, is putting a new spin on sunscreen reapplication with its Hybrid XL Cushion Sun Serum SPF 50. While sunscreen cushions have become a K-beauty staple, the brand differentiates its serum-based formula with a refillable compact designed for quick touchups over makeup, a hybrid mineral and chemical SPF 50 formula that leaves no white cast, and cooling puff technology that immediately lowers skin temperature by 7 degrees Fahrenheit after application. The formula also contains niacinamide, centella asiatica, aloe vera, hydrolyzed collagen and adenosine. Founder MJ Lee developed the product to make sun protection easier to maintain throughout the day.
“The big challenge with sunscreen is that people don’t use it on an ongoing basis. You have to do it every two hours,” said Hanna Lee, the founder’s aunt and the brand’s U.S. representative.
Priced at $45, the compact includes a complimentary refill cartridge.
4. Makeitskin, Superband Bug Bite Relief (South Korea)
Makeitskin is bringing K-beauty into the first-aid aisle with Superband Bug Bite Relief, a hydrocolloid patch designed to curb scratching while soothing irritation and reducing the appearance of redness. Each waterproof, latex-free patch creates a protective barrier over the bite and is infused with centella asiatica to help calm sensitive and eczema-prone skin. Cofounder Jihye Shin said the product grew out of customers using the brand’s original hydrocolloid bandages on bug bites.
“We’re really disrupting the first-aid category in the U.S.,” she said, describing the brand as bringing K-pharmacy concepts to the market while occupying the space between skin care and first aid, or “skin aid.”
Makeitskin products retail from $15 to $20 and are sold through Amazon and TikTok Shop.
5. Metamorphosis, Energize Red Light Activator Serum (U.S.)
Metamorphosis, which develops red-light therapy beauty devices, aims to boost the effectiveness of red-light therapy with its patent-pending Energize Red Light Activator Serum, formulated to prepare skin cells to better respond to treatment. While red-light therapy is typically performed on clean, dry skin, founder Sally Gardocki said her lightweight serum absorbs in about 30 seconds and is designed to help users see results faster than using red light alone. Created with the brand’s proprietary PhotoActiv8 technology, the formula features ubiquinol, astaxanthin, adenosine and the copper peptide GHK-Cu to support cellular energy and collagen production. Gardocki said she developed the product after realizing there was no skin care specifically formulated to enhance the effects of red-light therapy.
“What I wanted to do was enhance the light,” she said.
The serum retails for $89, while the brand’s existing product lineup is sold through Ulta Marketplace and Amazon.
