Dior Opens Immersive Miss Dior Pop-Up at South Coast Plaza

Dior has brought the world of Miss Dior to South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California, taking over the shopping center’s Jewel Court with an immersive pop-up running through August 31.

The installation, named "The House of Miss Dior," centers on the French luxury brand’s flagship fragrance franchise. It combines interactive product discovery with installations highlighting the fragrance's heritage, raw ingredients, and artisanal craftsmanship. The experience coincides with Dior's latest campaign starring long-term brand ambassador Natalie Portman, capitalizing on momentum as U.S. beauty sales rise on strong fragrance demand.

Visitors are guided through floral-inspired rooms, including a historic exhibit dedicated to Catherine Dior—sister of house founder Christian Dior and the original inspiration for the 1947 fragrance.

The pop-up offers a preview of the brand's new campaign film starring Portman, directed by French filmmaker Manu Cossu, alongside The Story of a Miss, an animated short film developed with French production studio Remembers.

An installation titled "Making of a Miss" offers a closer look at the perfumery process and the craftsmanship behind signature couture details, such as the house's hand-tied houndstooth bow. Meanwhile, the "Miss Dior Fitting Room" integrates scent discovery with branded photo opportunities.

The activation features a full retail station where shoppers can purchase the complete Miss Dior lineup, including Miss Dior Eau de Parfum, Miss Dior Parfum, Miss Dior Essence, and Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. The updated Eau de Parfum formulation pairs centifolia rose with vanilla, tonka bean, and sandalwood to deliver a warm, gourmand finish.
