E.l.f. Cosmetics Partners with Bubble for Exclusive Hybrid Skincare-Makeup Line
E.l.f. Cosmetics and Bubble have teamed up for an exclusive hybrid skincare-makeup line inspired by popular product-cocktailing trends.
E.l.f. Cosmetics has partnered with Bubble on a limited-edition collection of skincare-makeup hybrid products, launching exclusively online and at select Boots stores from August 6.
The collaboration brings together two powerhouses with strong traction among Gen Z and younger beauty consumers, reflecting a growing industry focus on multi-functional formulations that bridge active skincare and color cosmetics.
According to the brands, the lineup was developed in response to consumer demand for "cocktailing"—the viral habit of mixing and layering different skincare and cosmetics to achieve customized finishes. As skincare benefits become essential across color cosmetics—a movement also taking hold in prestige beauty with launches like Westman Atelier's skincare-infused foundation—mass brands are reimagining how product formats can serve dual purposes.
These hybrid products combine active skincare ingredients with cosmetic performance in single, streamlined formats.
The collection includes:
- DROP N' DUNK – A dual-chamber product uniting E.l.f. Skin Bronzing Drops with Bubble's Slam Dunk Hydrating Cream Moisturizer.
- Glow Talk – Combining E.l.f. Cosmetics' Glow Reviver Lip Balm with Bubble's Talk Back Lip Serum, designed to deliver pigment, high shine, and deep hydration. Offered in Berry Well, Pinky Promise, and Dusty Rose.
- Camo Slide – A blend of E.l.f. Cosmetics' Camo Liquid Blush and Bubble's Water Slide Hyaluronic Acid Serum, creating a sheer, buildable blush serum. Also offered in Berry Well, Pinky Promise, and Dusty Rose.
Oshiya Savur, Chief Brand Officer at E.l.f. Beauty, said: "This collaboration is inspired by what our communities are actively doing: mixing skincare with makeup, layering formulas and making beauty their own.
"We are bringing that creativity to life through hybrids that deliver care, colour and the kind of joy our communities expect from us."
Shai Eisenman, founder of Bubble, added: "Our partnership with E.l.f. is a celebration of that creativity. Together, we have transformed those real consumer behaviors into a collection of truly unique hybrid products that seamlessly blend skincare and makeup without compromising efficacy or accessibility, making it easier than ever for our shared communities to create routines that are their own."
The launch underscores how E.l.f. Cosmetics and Bubble partnered on the limited-edition hybrid collection to translate social media trends into tangible shelf innovation.
In the UK, the range will be sold exclusively through health and beauty retailer Boots across both digital channels and select physical doors. For Boots, the drop secures a differentiated retail exclusive that caters directly to youth-demographic demand for hybrid beauty formulations.
