Twelve-Year-Old Athlete Launches Tween Skincare Brand Stellar Beauty Co.

Stellar Beauty Co. officially launched on Thursday, introducing a new dermatologist-tested skincare line created by 12-year-old athlete Stella Dorazio. The brand's debut marks a significant moment in the industry as a 12-year-old founder launches Stellar Beauty Co. for Gen Alpha to address the unique skincare needs of active young girls.

The tween beauty brand's collection is designed specifically for girls whose skin is frequently exposed to sweat, sun, chlorine, and wind. The formulations feature gentle ingredients and mineral-based sun protection.

The debut lineup consists of four hero products:

  • Passion Pop Smash Cleanser
  • Coco Rush Punch Moisturizer
  • Splash Face Mist (a refreshing, after-sun facial mist)
  • Glow Guard Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50

"Stellar started because I wanted skincare that felt like it was made for girls like me," Dorazio said. "I wanted products that were fun and easy to use, but also gentle enough for growing skin and designed for all the things I love to do. I hope Stellar helps other girls build confidence through simple, healthy habits and reminds them to always shine as themselves."

Stellar Beauty Co. is currently available for purchase through the brand's official online store.

The launch comes at a time of massive growth in the youth sector. The broader demographic of U.S. teens and tweens represents about 10% of the total U.S. consumer beauty market, according to the Boston Consulting Group, spending an estimated $4.7 billion annually. This lucrative demographic has caught the attention of major beauty industry players, similar to how Belle Brands acquired clean skincare and makeup brand Versed to capture younger, community-led beauty audiences.
