iPDF Future Packaging Exhibition Opens in Guangzhou with Global Compliance Focus
The 2026 iPDF International Future Packaging Exhibition kicked off in Guangzhou, bringing together global suppliers and beauty brands to address supply chain integration and cross-border regulatory compliance.
On July 1, the 2026 iPDF International Future Packaging Exhibition opened at the Guangzhou Airport Expo Center for a three-day run. According to the organizers, the opening day saw high foot traffic from professional visitors, including domestic and international packaging manufacturers, beauty brands, and cross-border sourcing teams engaging in supply chain matchmaking.
Why it matters: As beauty brands navigate increasingly complex global regulations and ESG requirements, packaging suppliers are shifting from simple manufacturing to offering integrated, compliant, and sustainable solutions that facilitate seamless cross-border market entry.
The exhibition features specialized zones for plastics, glass, metal, paper and flexible packaging, specialty materials, and cross-border export, covering the entire cosmetics packaging supply chain. The event program includes over 20 industry activities, featuring three major themed forums, five cross-border export sessions, nine new product launches, three award ceremonies, and six targeted buyer matchmaking sessions.
Full-Chain Exhibitors Cover Key Packaging Categories
Plastic packaging represents the largest zone at the exhibition. More than 100 companies, including Essel, Zhengzhuang, Zhengsheng Technology, Guanxing Packaging, Yifa, and Nite Packaging, are showcasing injection-molded containers, blow-molded bottles, tubes, and pump heads tailored for the beauty, personal care, and food sectors.
In the glass packaging zone, companies such as Shengwei, Gaoya x Zhenhua, Chunjing, Bowei, Jihuang, and Huahe are presenting daily-use glass containers for skincare, fragrance, color cosmetics, and hair care, with several products highlighting eco-friendly attributes.
The paper and flexible packaging zone features dozens of suppliers, including Xianjunlong, Qiancai, Qiwang Paper, and Chengde Technology. Their displays include color boxes, gift boxes, flexible films, labels, and sustainable paper materials, with a strong focus on biodegradable molded pulp and creative printing technologies.
In the metal packaging zone, Anomatic, Dongfang Technology, Yixuan Metal, and Yongxi Metal are showcasing aluminum aerosol cans, metal closures, and aluminum-plastic laminated tubes for cosmetics packaging.
Specialty zones cover packaging accessories, printing inks, production machinery, testing services, and warehousing logistics, featuring exhibitors like Selig, Yaoming Ribbon, Siegwerk, and Yuhang Machinery. Meanwhile, the cross-border export zone hosts dozens of companies, including Tengyu Group, Korea Debo, Bavi, Shangzhuang, Xinde Group, and Aobao, focusing on custom packaging and supply chain integration for beauty and FMCG brands expanding globally.
Forums Focus on Design Innovation and Cross-Border Compliance
On the opening day, the "Design-Driven Experience: Creative Packaging Design for FMCG" forum took place in Hall 1. Moderated by Refati Hamulati, Senior Packaging Development Engineer at Beiersdorf, the forum featured brand owners, packaging manufacturers, and consulting agencies sharing case studies on minimalist packaging design, functional label innovations, multi-chamber packaging, and global beauty trends.
Concurrently, the 3rd Beauty Cross-Border Export Conference hosted two specialized sessions. The compliance session, led by experts from Intertek, covered cosmetics regulations, quality management standards, factory audits, and ESG compliance across Southeast Asia, the Americas, South Korea, Central Asia, and Russia. The South Korean packaging session brought together Korean beauty brands, creative agencies, and packaging platforms to discuss design trends, hero product development, and market entry risks in South Korea.
New Product Roadshows and Targeted Buyer Matchmaking
Hall 2 hosted several new product roadshows on day one. Essel introduced its dual-chamber serum tubes utilizing advanced freshness-locking technology. Ningbo Laoshi Plastic debuted an all-in-one rotary blush with an integrated brush head. Tonglu Packaging showcased its seashell series and V-angle glass bottles. Shanggong launched six functional closures, including back-suction and non-return single-roller tips, while Lainuoniao presented an AI-driven digital solution for packaging development.
In the business matchmaking area of Hall 2, the organizers held targeted B2B meetings matching pre-screened suppliers with buyers from Southeast Asia, North America, Central Asia, Russia, and South Korea, alongside regional brand delegations and major retail chains like Meilin Meizhuang and Huli Xiaoyao. According to the organizers, the first day of international matchmaking sessions yielded multiple preliminary agreements for sampling and bulk purchasing. Upcoming sessions include dedicated matchmaking tracks for Heine Group and South Korean buyers (including companies like Companero Holdings and GreenStein).
iPDF Night Honors Design and Supplier Excellence
The first day concluded with the "iPDF Night" gala. Liang Jia, CEO of China Cosmetics, welcomed guests and emphasized the exhibition's mission to build an international platform for display, exchange, and empowerment to foster supply chain collaboration.
The gala featured the presentation of the iPDF Design Awards, honoring winners across four categories: Good Idea, Good Package, Good Design, and Good Fame. Wang Jun, Chief Designer at Shanghai Jahwa, served as a jury representative to share key design trends and judging criteria.
The event also announced the 2026 China Cosmetics Outstanding and Excellent Packaging Supplier lists. Essel, Chunjing Glass, Kandal, Guanxing Packaging, and Nite Packaging were recognized as Outstanding Suppliers, while Baihe Packaging, Hongzhi Hose, Xianjunlong, Ligao Packaging, and Huahe Packaging were named Excellent Suppliers.
On July 2, the exhibition will continue with forums on new materials, AI applications in FMCG, and raw materials. The second day of the event will feature specialized cross-border sessions, including a dedicated TikTok Shop track—a platform that has rapidly evolved into a powerhouse for beauty commerce—alongside regional focuses on Indonesia and the United States. The 2025 China Cosmetics Top 100 Brands Awards Ceremony will also take place, with the exhibition running through July 3.
