Estée Lauder Appoints Madeleine Boyd as Global Brand Communications Chief
The Estée Lauder Companies has named Madeleine Boyd as its new Senior Vice President of Global Brand Communications to elevate consumer storytelling.
The Estée Lauder Companies has appointed Madeleine Boyd as its new Senior Vice President of Global Brand Communications. In this newly integrated role, Boyd will establish and lead a unified global brand communications team as the U.S. beauty giant seeks to deepen its connection with consumers worldwide.
According to the company, Boyd will sharpen global communications strategy and accelerate consumer-first storytelling to drive earned media, cultural relevance, and brand desirability. She is also tasked with strengthening creator engagement to help Estée Lauder’s portfolio gain traction where modern culture is shaped.
This strategic communications push comes at a pivotal moment for the beauty giant. The company recently pivoted to operational restructuring after deciding to retain key brands like Too Faced, Smashbox, and Dr. Jart+ rather than pursuing a divestment.
Boyd joins Estée Lauder from Together Group, where she served as Global Senior Vice President of Beauty & Wellness. Her background spans brand strategy, communications, consumer engagement, and cultural insights across the beauty, luxury, and lifestyle sectors.
Prior to her tenure at Together Group, Boyd spent nearly seven years at Karla Otto, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President of Global Beauty & Wellness. Earlier in her career, she held brand marketing, digital content, and editorial roles at Mecca and Vogue Australia.
"Madeleine brings a powerful combination of strategic communications expertise, cultural fluency, and a deep understanding of today's beauty consumer," said Meridith Webster, Chief Communications & Public Affairs Officer at The Estée Lauder Companies. The company's extensive portfolio includes prestige brands such as Aramis, Clinique, Lab Series, Origins, M.A.C, La Mer, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Aveda, Jo Malone London, and Bumble and Bumble.
Webster added: "As we continue to evolve how our brands engage consumers and shape conversations globally, Madeleine will lead a best-in-class Global Brand Communications organization that elevates our storytelling, strengthens collaboration across our portfolio, and helps our brands earn relevance, resonance, and long-term desirability."
In its most recent financial update, Estée Lauder reported a 5% increase in net sales, reaching $3.7 billion for the three months ending March 31.
